Taapsee Pannu Is Ecstatic About Bagging ‘Dunki’, Says There Was A Lingering Disbelief Until The First Day Of Shoot
I could not contain my excitement when I got my then-favourite author Amish Tripathi’s autograph at a college event. I still have the autograph and I would not stop talking about it for days! And therefore, I can relate to Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu’s excitement about bagging a Rajkumar Hirani film to a certain extent as well! Taapsee is on cloud nine ever since it was made official that she is going to star in a comedy film titled Dunki directed by Rajkumar Hirani and that, too, alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Recently, the Haseen Duilruba actor has revealed what she feels about getting on board this big of a project.
Taapsee Pannu On Bagging A Rajkumar Hirani Film
As per a report by Hindustan Times, Taapsee has described this project as the ‘biggest film’ she could have ever got. She also exclaimed that this is too good to be true and that she never thought she would reach this stage let alone this soon in her career. She also went on to say that she was not announcing or talking about the project because she did not want to ‘jinx’ it.

When she was asked about her first thought about landing the film, she said that there always was disbelief lingering until the first day when she reported on the set of the film. Taapsee Pannu also went on to state it was not just her but her sister as well who repeatedly confirm with her if she was still a part of the film after the first day at the shoot!

Sharing her thoughts on what is it like working with Shah Rukh Khan, she said that she was looking forward to the most tp spending time with him off-screen. She also added that she loves Khan’s personality beyond the films. Pannu is in awe of his wit and humour and wants to know the experiences that he has had working through these decades. Dunki is slated to release in theatres on December 22, 2023, and we are very excited to watch it!
