Sonam Kapoor, Anand Ahuja’s New Delhi Residence Robbed, Cash And Jewellery Worth Rs 1.4 Crore Goes Missing
It was not so long ago when Sonam Kapoor and husband Anand Ahuja announced their pregnancy, and now the internet is shocked about this latest piece of news. The unfortunate news comes straight from their residence in New Delhi, which was reportedly robbed in the month of February. Keeping the news under wraps, it has now been reported that Sonam and Anand’s New Delhi home was robbed with round about Rs 1.41 crore worth of cash and jewellery that went missing.

While the incident happened almost a month back, it was also reported that Sonam’s mother-in-law, Priya Ahuja was the first one to lodge a complaint about the same on February 23, 2022. Taking quick action on the issue, the Delhi Police soon started the investigation and have been questioning 25 members of the home staff. Priya Ahuja also mentioned in the complaint, that she learnt about the theft from Anand Ahuja’s grandmother–Sarla Ahuja who stays with the family in the New Delhi home. A similar incident took place a few months back when the news of Sonam Kapoor’s father-in-law Harish Ahuja being cheated of Rs 27 crore did the rounds on the internet. The investigation is still in process, and we hope the police soon find the culprits.
