Who Is Rukhsana Kausar, The Brave Kashmiri Girl That Shraddha Kapoor Is Set To Play In Her Next Film?
Shraddha Kapoor has many movies to her name and each time she has stunned the audiences with her performance. But this time around, it seems as though the actress is taking up a challenge that is both – difficult and brave. Why? Well, because the rumours in B-Town claim that Shraddha Kapoor is all set to play the brave-hearted Kashmiri girl Rukhsana Kausar in her next movie.
So, who is Rukhsana Kausar?
The Kashmiri girl that Shraddha Kapoor is set to play in her next movie is the very brave Rukhsana Kausar. She is the same girl who became a hero overnight when she killed a Lashkar-E-Taiba (LeT) militant in September 2009.
In 2009, a group of terrorists barged into her house, and Rukhsana Kausar instead of getting scared took one of the terrorists’ AK-47 and shot him dead. She left another terrorist injured. She was praised for showing courage and bravery at such a time.
As per reports, not much has been revealed about the movie based on Rukhsana Kausar’s life. A source said, “Makers of the film wanted someone who would look like a 20-year-old onscreen to play Rukhsana. Shraddha (Kapoor) undoubtedly will do justice to the role. And hence she has been roped into the movie.”
Needless to say, this movie of Shraddha Kapoor is going to be nothing like the ones she has done before. The actress will have to put in a lot of effort and time to get into the skin of Rukhsana Kausar.
While on one hand, these are the talks going on in B-Town, on the other, Shraddha Kapoor already has two confirmed projects in her pipeline – one is Stree 2 and the other is Luv Ranjan’s untitled movie where the actress will be starring opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
