Red Sea Int. Film Festival: SRK Reveals He Cancelled Shoot To Be There For Suhana, Learnt To Make Pizza In Free Time!

A very honest confession, staying away from family in a different city, I always crave more for my mother to be around me than my father. And isn’t that the usual case with everyone? Since our fathers don’t let their emotions out so often, little do we know how much they want to be there for us when we are living all by ourselves. Even superstar Shah Rukh Khan shared one such emotional and beautiful incident with us while speaking at the Red Sea International Film Festival. SRK also shared his experience with the movie Zero and recalled some shooting days of Pathaan during the Pandemic.

Shah Rukh made his gracious presence at the prestigious Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah. We got to know about SRK’s caring and considerate nature as a father a little more closely. He shared about the time when his daughter Suhana Khan was going to New York University for her higher studies. Shah Rukh said that it was always their mother, Gauri Khan who used to go and settle them, but he really wanted to be there for Suhana. He literally cancelled all his shoots for a period of 6-7 months, but the sad and also funny part was that Suhana did not call him for any help. Shah Rukh then went on to sweetly confront the daughter about whether or not he should resume shooting. Suhana being absolutely clueless about this, told him that she was enjoying her life and that her father should start working. This was such a wholesome memory, and it once again proved how thoughtful Shah Rukh Khan is as a father.

Oh well, and how can we forget Shah Rukh’s cooking skills that he learned during the Pandemic? The actor also flaunted a little about how awesome and tasty Italian food he makes, especially pizzas and pasta. It’s only a dream for us to taste it someday!

The Pathaan actor also said that Zero, which was one of his personal favourite films failed to do the desired numbers at the box office. SRK also talked about how Pathaan was filmed in Mumbai during the Pandemic keeping in mind all the precautions.
