This Video Compilation Of Shah Rukh Khan’s Movies From 90s Is Making Us Go “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai SRK, Tum Nahi Samjoge”

While people my age, younger than me, and elder than me are simping hard over Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Matt Smith, Ranbir Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, and many more, I’m here drooling over a man who is more than double my age. Yes, I’m talking about the one and the only, King of Romance in Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. And before you judge me, just go look at that picture from Pathaan – I promise it will do more than just shut you up for good. Speaking about him, he is more than just looks, he is a terrific actor who has time and again given brilliant performances that are still engraved in people’s minds and hearts. If I had to choose a time period for Shah Rukh Khan where he gave some of the best performances, then I’d, hands down, go with the 90s – Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Baazigar, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Dil Se, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and the list goes on and on.

Wondering why I suddenly am all about the actor? Well, it is all thanks to this Twitter user by the name of @_doldrums_ who made a compilation of Shah Rukh Khan in his 90s movies. The 47 seconds video brought such a warm genuine smile to my face and I could literally guess almost all his movies just from the snippets.

The video starts with snippet from Shah Rukh Khan’s song ‘Ladki Badi Anjani Hai’ from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. It then shows snippets from movies like – Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Yes Boss, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Pardes, Dil Se, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, and many more.

Needless to say, all the Shah Rukh Khan fans assembled in the comment sections and spoke about the magic Shah Rukh Khan created on screen in the 90s and how those movies and his characters have ruled their hearts for so many years – and still continue to do so. Check out some of their reactions:

Having watched the video, I honestly miss Shah Rukh Khan from the 90s. But another thing that the video made me realise was the range of characters he played and the wide range of stories that were shown back then which honestly today’s Bollywood lacks. Gosh, I miss the 90s, someone take me back to those times, please!
