In new pictures, Chopra is seen dripping crystal gold on the red carpet. Priyanka picked up a couture gown from label Tony Ward’s Flowing Lines collection. An overlay of drizzling ivory sequins, and glitter formed the silhouette of branches. The semi-naked trend is given a push through the usage of a net fabric, that comes coupled with a skin-coloured lining.

The long bat sleeves compliment the neckline, which features three-layered sequin stripes. Chopra couples her gown with an emerald-encrusted neckpiece that highlights the imbalanced presence of silver, and gold in the look. The actress was further styled by celebrity stylist Law Roach, the mind behind some of the best looks on actresses like Zendaya.

What makes the gown a misfit for Chopra is its busy silhouette design and the big problem that the long-trailing length serves. For someone as popular as Chopra, the silhouette doesn’t do justice to her persona or provide an edgy form. Another problem with the look is the incorporation of emeralds, and diamonds which add to the chaos in the silhouette, and have us more confused.
