Sargun Mehta Hates It When People Ask Ravi Dubey And Her To Start A Family. Can’t A Husband And Wife Be A ‘Happy’ Family Too?

Most of us are brought up with the mindset that if you’re married and do not have kids then you’re not a family. We’re literally raised to believe that a family begins when you have kids and trust me, they couldn’t have been more wrong. Even two people, happy and content with each other, do not need the presence of a child(ren) to complete their family. They two are a complete family by themselves. And I’m not the only one who believes that. Actress Sargun Mehta recently spoke about why people ask her to start a family when she and Ravi Dubey are already a happy family. And as someone who doesn’t want kids in the future, I agree.

Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey have been married for the past eight years and after all this while they still get questioned as to when they are starting a family. As for Ravi Dubey, he dismisses the topic by saying that they are not thinking about it, but in a recent interview Sargun Mehta showed her annoyance of being asked this question constantly.

In the interview, Sargun Mehta said that she and Ravi Dubey have been a happy family for the past eight years and don’t understand why she is asked when she is starting a family. She added, “Aren’t Ravi and I already a family of two happy people? I don’t keep asking people if they have kids or whether they should have another child if they have one and only then their family will be complete. I don’t advise people on how many kids they should have or even ask them about it. I don’t ask people if they are single or married then why do people have to ask me such things.”

As per Times of India, Sargun Mehta further spoke about how she feels like responding to that question with that’s none of your business but she doesn’t want to be rude and so she ends up saying that they are not thinking of starting a family.

Honestly, I get her annoyance. I mean, not wanting kids is okay. And it doesn’t mean that the married couples who choose not to have kids are incomplete or don’t have a family. It just means that they are perfectly happy and content with each other and would like to remain the same.
