‘Runway 34’ Trailer: Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh Drama Promises A Thrilling Flight

Starring Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, Boman Irani, Angira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh, Runway 34 is inspired by true events. Directed and produced by Ajay Devgn, the film is co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Vikrant Sharma, Sandeep Harish Kewlani, Tarlok Singh Jethi, Hasnain Husaini and Jay Kanujia. This highly anticipated thriller revolves around Captain Vikrant Khanna, played by Ajay Devgn, who happens to be a flying prodigy but his flight take a mysterious course following a take-off from an international destination. It also features Rakul Preet Singh as a co-pilot.

Runway 34 is inspired by the true story of the 2015 Jet Airways Doha-Kochi flight that faced difficulties landing at the Cochin International Airport due to unclear visibility and bad weather and evaded a major disaster. This film was originally titled ‘Mayday’ but was later changed to Runway 34. The official announcement of the film was made in November 2020 and the principal photography began in December 2020 in Hyderabad and was wrapped in December 2021.
