We’ve known Ratna Pathak Shah and Naseeruddin Shah for speaking their minds and voicing their opinions without fear. But TBH, that’s something that lands actors in trouble every now and then. This is also why most actors try to not voice their opinions on public platforms. Speaking about the same, Ratna Pathak Shah opened up and shared that she tries to stop her husband Naseeruddin Shah from voicing opinions because it could land the couple in trouble. Further, the actress also added that at the same time, it is essential to be opinionated and point out the wrongs in society otherwise nothing will change.

Ratna Pathak Shah is currently promoting her upcoming film Kutch Express which marks her Gujarati debut. During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Ratna Pathak Shah opened up about Naseeruddin Shah and said that she always tries to stop him from voicing his opinions because she fears that in today’s time, someone might just come and throw stones at their home. She went on to add that as it is, it’s difficult to get work and that’s why one has to be sensible but not scared.

Further, the actress added that while it’s scary to voice one’s opinion, it is essential to point out the wrongs in society or else, things will not get better. She concluded by saying that we aren’t at our worst point right now but let’s see what happens next. Well, it’s not surprising that Ratna Pathak Shah is scared of offending people. I mean, we’ve all seen how trolls attack opinionated public figures and get personal while taking digs at them.
