The film industry was still mourning the loss of the veteran actor Satish Kaushik, that lost another gem, Pradeep Sarkar on March 24, Friday. The director who has given innumerable films on less discussed topics, especially about women breathed his last on March 23 at the age of 67. Rani Mukerji, the actress who had worked with him in films like Mardaani and Laaga Chunri Mein Daag recently spoke on this loss and extended her condolences to Pradeep Sarkar’s family.

For Rani Mukerji, Pradeep Sarkar’s death was a personal loss as she had worked with him in several critically acclaimed films. The actress who was recently seen in the film Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway spoke to the media about the director and expressed her emotions about his sudden demise. She said that they had a brief conversation about her latest film just a few days back, and they were also planning to meet soon. Rani Mukerji stated that she was informed about the news by Pradeep Sarkar’s wife. The Mardaani actress also said that the director’s death felt like a personal loss to her and she prayed for strength to his wife and children, as per the news.
