Ahead Of ‘Lock Upp’ Release, Poonam Pandey Says She Was Born With Entertainment. Umm, Okay?
Kangana Ranaut and Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming reality show Lock Upp has been making headlines over the last few weeks. Much like Bigg Boss, this reality show will also have several contestants being locked up together. As of now the names of four contestants have been revealed – Nisha Rawal, Munawar Faruqui, Poonam Pandey and Babita Phogat. Poonam Pandey has been making headlines ever since she was announced as a contestant. In a conversation with a leading entertainment portal, the actress has opened up about the statement made by Kangana Ranaut in the trailer.

Speaking about Lock Upp, Poonam Pandey told Bollywood Life that she has never been more excited for a show as much as she is for Lock Upp adding that she is ‘looking forward to get locked up’. She also shared that she is waiting to meet Kangana Ranaut, Ekta Kapoor as well as all the other contestants.

In the trailer of the show, Kangana Ranaut said, “Inn celebrities mein se kuch aise bhi hai jinhe khulke jeene ki aadat hai, isliye ab kapde utrange toh sabke saamne.” When asked about it, Poonam Pandey said that she doesn’t know if the statement about removing clothes is for her. She added, “The fact that she has said something like this I think that is amazing, and I think that should happen.”

Poonam Pandey went on to say that she is going inside the Lock Upp house and added that entertainment is something that she was born with. She further added that this combination works magic in the Bollywood industry. ” I don’t have to forcefully do something. Apart from that what you can expect from me is the real Poonam Pandey,” said the actress.

For the unversed, Lock Upp is all set to air on the OTT platforms ALT Balaji and MX Player from 27 February onwards.
