Recently, there have been many rumours about actor Ranveer Singh reviving the role of Shaktimaan on the big screen. While there are no confirmations on this news, actor Mukesh Khanna has finally broken his silence on the rumours. The actor reacted to the news of Ranveer Singh playing the part and shared an elaborate video on the same to put forth his views. Mukesh Khanna condemned the fact that Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actor has been chosen to play the role of Shaktimaan and revealed that he is not on board with the plan.

Mukesh Khanna shared a video on his YouTube channel and shared the video link on his social media handle as well. In the caption, the Shaktimaan star addressed the social media rumours about Ranveer Singh playing the role of the superhero that made a special place in everyone’s heart. Mukesh Khanna wrote that he is only breaking his silence because the media is also talking about the same. The actor firmly stated that he does not wish to see star-like Ranveer Singh play the role of Shaktimaan, as he does not consider his “image” worthy of the character. The actor also stated that he had “Put his foot down” in this matter and is waiting to see what happens next.

Mukesh Khanna bashed Ranveer Singh for his viral nude photoshoot pictures and suggested he should work in countries like Finland and Spain where nudity is allowed. He also said that Ranveer broke all his limits after doing the nude photo shoot and did not respect the culture of the country. In this video, Mukesh Khanna also clarified that Shaktimaan is not just a superhero but also a super teacher and therefore Mukesh Khanna wants that people should listen to the actor who plays the role of Shakitmaan.

Well, while we appreciate Mukesh Khanna’s concern about the right portrayal of Shaktimaan’s character on the big screen, it is not right to shame another actor for the choices he had made. The fact that Mukesh Khanna does not want Ranveer Singh to play the character because he did a nude photoshoot is offensive as it takes away the star’s credibility as an artist. Ranveer Singh has successfully portrayed many memorable characters on screen and if he ever plays the iconic Shaktimaan, we are sure, he will do it with the same kind of effort and love.
