Amitabh Bachchan Reportedly Taken To Hospital After Feeling Uneasy, Undergoes Angioplasty Surgery

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has been admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital for an angioplasty surgery, as reported by ABP News. The veteran actor, known for his towering presence in the Indian film industry, was admitted after experiencing shortness of breath. According to the report, Bachchan’s discomfort prompted his hospitalization at Kokilaben Hospital, where he underwent the angioplasty procedure for his heart. Sources suggest that Bachchan had been feeling uneasy while attending events, leading to the decision for a general checkup, during which doctors recommended the operation. Fortunately, Bachchan is said to be recovering well post-surgery.

In the midst of speculations about his health, Bachchan took to social media on Friday to express his gratitude, sharing a cryptic message, “T 4950 – in gratitude ever…” Additionally, he shared a video that promoted his Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) team. However, neither Bachchan nor his family has released an official statement regarding his health condition. This isn’t the first time Bachchan has faced health challenges. Earlier this year, he underwent surgery for his wrist, as evidenced by pictures shared on his blog showing him sporting a sling alongside Akshay Kumar. Moreover, in March last year, while shooting for “Kalki 2898 AD” in Hyderabad, Bachchan suffered injuries from a harness mishap, resulting in bed rest due to a torn muscle and strained rib cartilage. Consequently, he missed promotional events like the San Diego Comic Con for the film due to medical restrictions.

He recently shared updates on his blog about shooting for Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD, expressing enthusiasm for the film’s impending release on May 9th.
