Machine Gun Kelly’s Engagement Ring Is Designed To Hurt Megan Fox If She Removes It. That’s One Way To Keep A Commitment!

Engagements are a beautiful thing, aren’t they? The rings are a symbol of your love and commitment, a promise to your partner that you will stick by them and cherish them forever. However, how far are you willing to go for that promise? Not as far as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) and Megan Fox. In a recent interview, MGK said that the engagement ring he gave Megan Fox is designed to hurt her if she removes it. Talk about bizarre!

In a recent interview with Vogue, MGK and Megan Fox were asked about their recent engagement that took everyone by surprise. The couple announced it on their Instagram accounts. When asked if they expected it to turn into a big story the way it did, Megan Fox seemed oblivious to the fact that she and her fiance were trending. She asked MGK if he was aware of it as she isn’t active on social media. MGK then said that they announced it themselves because they would prefer for the news to come from them and wanted to control the narrative. “As opposed to someone just catching a weird cell phone picture of a ring on our hand and being like, whoa!” He said that he didn’t expect it to turn into something big on social media as he had simply set his phone against a cup and recorded the engagement.

When discussing the ring he discussed his collaboration with Stephen Webster for the design of the ring. Megan Fox showed off her ring as MGK explained, “The concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings. When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet. So you see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart. And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts…”, according to the interview. MGK then justified his whole idea with the words, “love is pain!”

Well, as unconventional as this sounds, it isn’t too outlandish for MGK and Megan Fox considering they drank each other’s blood after their engagement. Good for them for finding each other who enjoy their really gothic-esque love languages. After all, it is all about accepting and loving each other for who they are, right?
