Kangana Ranaut Rants About Modern Young Women, Calls Them “Gutter Chap.” Sounds Like Our Aunty Next Door!

Kangana Ranaut is popular for her opinions on a range of topics. She recently called the Gen Z protest “crass” and also called out the questionable behaviour of the youth. The actor keeps sharing her thoughts on social media, and now she has shared a rant on the “Young Hindu Women.” Kangana Ranaut penned a note on how the entitled behaviour of these woman annoy her. Kangana Ranaut On Hindu Woman

The actor’s most recent work was Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata. The actor-turned-politician also makes headlines for her controversial opinions on various social and political topics. She recently penned a note to share her thoughts on the behaviour of young Hindu women. The actor opined that young Hindu women just want to “imitate” the lives of independent women instead of displaying their qualities. Kangana Ranaut elaborated that the freedom of an independent woman had to be earned, and then she went on to list the qualities of a true independent woman, such as she is “bold, rebellious, opinionated and someone who takes accountability of her actions.”

Kangana Ranaut further said that the new generation is termed as “Westernised Indian Women” and called them the “Generation Gutter”. As per the actor, this new generation has nothing to offer in terms of studies, and they are “so ugly and corrupt that they can’t even be homemakers.” Kangana Ranaut opined that the generation of women in question just like to flaunt their freedom by having “drugs, drinks and endless body counts” and live off their parents’ money. According to the actor, this was not the definition of independent women, and if the women are trying to show independence without accountability, it’s simply, and we quote the actor, “a distorted entity, a gutter chap.”

Well, that was quite a note! Firstly, why is religion being brought here? It’s only a different dimension to these already problematic opinions. Calling out women or girls for whatever choices or privileges they enjoy sounds entitled and extremely judgemental. And the kind of terms used to describe the modern generation of young women, like “gutter chaap”, is absolutely atrocious. Furthermore, the fact that a woman is still viewed through the lens of two extreme binaries (being accomplished at academics or the perfect homemaker) is only a reflection of the outdated mindset that we still are dealing with in 2026.
