Kangana Ranaut Calls Gen Z Protest Reels “Crass”, Asks “Who Is Birthing, Raising Them…”

The social media feeds were flooded with the Gen Z protest over the NEET paper leak, where students demanded accountability and action. The protest was led by Cockroach Janta Party headed by Abhijit Dipke. It was withdrawn after the Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan submitted his resignation. Many people, including celebrities, hailed the courage portrayed by Gen Z; however, actor-politician Kangana Ranaut expressed different opinions regarding the same. What Did Kangana Ranaut Say?
The actor turned politician took to her social media to share her two cents on the Gen Z protest that had taken over our social media feeds over the last few days. She penned a note on social media calling out the language and behaviour showcased by the youth during the protest. In the long note, Kangana Ranaut wrote, “Never have I ever seen so much ugliness in one place.” She called the Gen Z protest reels “puke-inducing”. The actor questioned the kind of language the kids were using, and she called it crass. The actor further added, “Ewwww, who is raising and birthing them?”
Kangana Ranaut called India a beautiful place of diversity, “draped in elegance and rooted in cultural sophistication.” She further added, You call yourselves cockroaches, behave like that as well.” She opined that the ones identifying themselves as cockroaches were subjecting the world to “filth, garbage.” Kangana Ranaut further said that she needs some break from these reels and wanted some detox.
On the other hand, many celebrities like Shabana Azmi, Ratna Pathak Shah, Naseeruddin Shah, Alia Bhatt, and Salman Khan, among others, showed solidarity with the students.
