The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)- led protests over the NEET paper leak were withdrawn after Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned. The protests began in Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, but in no time, they spread across the country. Heavy protests took place at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, and some strong visuals emerged on social media. One of them was a girl standing in front of a police van. The woman was identified as a model, Rhiya Ahir. According to reports, she has filed a complaint against harassers. Read here for more.

Rhiya Ahir Files Complaint Alleging Harassment

Rhiya Ahir, a model, went viral on social media after a powerful picture of her surfaced. According to the latest reports, Rhiya Ahir has filed a police complaint against many harassers and trolls who targeted her over the NEET protests in Mumbai’s Shivaji Park. As per the reports, Rhiya Ahir has alleged that after the protest pictures, many trolls have been targeting her to abuse her and malign her reputation. She has also claimed that some of her old pictures were circulated on social media, and she was being slut-shamed for participating in the NEET paper leak protests.

According to an India Today report, Rhiya Ahir has registered a complaint, and she was contacted by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell to take further action.

What Was The Protest About?

The Jantar Mantar protest led by CJP was over the NEET paper leak, and the many students who took their lives over it. The students demanded accountability and resignation from the Education Minister. Many celebrities, including Shabana Azmi, Prakash Raj, Imran Khan, Ayesha Khan, Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah, among others, raised their voices in support of the students.
