Kangana Ranaut On Uddhav Thackeray’s Resignation: Important Time For Indian Democracy After 1975

Kangana Ranaut has been an active critic of Indian politics. The actor is known to speak her mind on everything that becomes the current topic of discussion. She uses her social media handles actively in this case and puts forth her opinion for her fans and followers. Recently the state of Maharashtra witnessed a major twist in the political situation with its Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s resignation. Since then there has been a  flood of opinions and news on the same, and Kangana Ranaut also released her statement in this regard.

On Wednesday, Uddhav Thackeray resigned from the post of Maharashtra’s Chief Minister after he denied proving the majority. Maharashtra’s politics was seeing a lot of tussles before this happened. And reacting to the whole scenario, actress Kangana Ranaut released a video message on her social media handle. Through this video, she has given her take on the news. In the video message, where Kangana spoke in Hindi, she firstly states that this time is very important for Indian democracy after 1975. She then quoted her own lines from 2020 that said democracy is only about trust. Further adding, anyone who is high on power and anyone who breaks this trust and faith with people, will one day surely get his pride broken. Also adds that this is not a power possessed by anyone in particular, but rather by someone of pure character. Commenting further on Shiv Shena’s end of the rule, Kangana gave an example of how Hanuman Ji is considered to be the 12th incarnation of Lord Shiva, and since Shiv Sena had banned Hanuman Chalisa, so even Lord Shiva could not save them from this. She ended her message by saying “Har Har Mahadev. Jai Hind, Jai Maharashtra.”

For the caption, Kangana wrote in Hindi which said that when evil overpowers, there will be destruction and then the process of creation will take place. She also wrote, “And the lotus of life blooms ….” Kangana Ranaut in the past also has been a very harsh critic of the Shiv Sena government and particularly Uddhav Thackeray too.
