Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut has slammed veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah after his remark about Bollywood’s lack of response to the student protests. Kangana Ranaut recently took to her Instagram stories and reacted to Naseeruddin Shah’s words by asking him about his silence on the ongoing Jharkhand protests. She shared a video of Piyush Mishra talking about Shah’s comment on social media and even called the veteran actor a ‘lombdi.’ She wrote that everyone was someone’s “pet” and that she was proud to defend the same house she got her food from. She went on to claim that the veteran actor defended “the neighbours.” Ranaut wrote a sidenote stating that being called a dog was a compliment these days since “loyalty and cuteness” were rare. She then called the actor a “lombdi.”
For the unversed, just a few days back, Shah questioned many Bollywood actors’ silence over the Cockroach Janta Party’s protests in New Delhi and took a dig at them as he compared them to a dog with a bone in its mouth. The actor said that they would only speak when the bone falls out of their mouth or breaks their teeth during a chat with The Wire.
