Bombay HC Turns Down Request For A Thorough FBI Investigation Filed By Jiah Khan’s Mother, Rabia
One can never recover from a personal loss, especially if a mother has lost her child under unnatural circumstances. This grief is being borne by actress Jiah Khan’s mother, Rabia Khan. All the more because she is going through continuous court proceedings to get justice for her daughter. Jiah Khan died by suicide in 2013, and since then her case is undergoing. Her mother alleged that Jiah’s then-boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi was the reason behind her death and Rabia sought justice. But now, the Bombay High Court has given a green flag to the investigation carried out by the CBI after Rabia Khan moved to the court with an appeal that the death be investigated by the Federal Bureau Of Investigation (FBI).

The recent update on Jiah Khan’s case came after the Bombay High Court denied Rabia Khan’s appeal of transferring the case to the FBI. Rabia’s petition was heard by the two-judge divisional bench that had Justices A S Gadkari and M N Jadhav. During the proceeding, the court acknowledged that CBI has carried out an unbiased investigation, and the court denied allowing the request of transferring the case to the FBI, on the grounds that it will go out of their “Territorial Jurisdiction”.

As per the report, the Bombay High Court bench also accused Rabia Khan of delaying the trials. The court clearly stated that a thorough investigation was carried out by the CBI in terms of checking the evidence and the accused before they submitted their final reports to the judiciary. As per all the investigations, it was concluded that the death was by suicide and not a homicide.

Rabia Khan is having a hard time accepting the truth and that is clearly understood. She has experienced an irreparable loss and is doing her best to find peace with it. But if the court is now ruling out all the possibilities of foul play in Jiah Khan’s case based on the CBI reports, we hope that they are true and justified.
