Jiah Khan’s Mother Accuses Sooraj Pancholi Of Physically And Verbally Abusing Her Daughter Before She Committed Suicide
Jiah Khan died by suicide in the year 2013, however, her mother is still striving to get justice for her daughter. Jiah’s sudden death has sent shock waves in the country, especially in the events that followed it. Actor Sooraj Pancholi who was the then rumoured boyfriend of Jiah was also charged by the CBI in the suicide abetment case, however, he was later released on bail. The case is still ongoing in court and a recent hearing took place in which Jiah Khan’s mother Rabia Khan gave her testimony. In her testimony, Rabia made some shocking statements and allegations about Sooraj Pancholi and accused him of physically and verbally abusing her daughter.

The case was heard by a special judge and in front of whom, Rabia Khan’s testimony was recorded. Jiah’s mother in her statement revealed some events that happened a few months before Jiah’s suicide. Rabia Khan gave details on the timeline of his daughter’s friendship with Sooraj Pancholi. As per the news, Rabia Khan said that they both met in 2012 through social media, and in fact, Sooraj Pancholi had approached her. She also added that Jiah was quite hesitant to meet Sooraj at first, however she did and they gradually became good friends. In her testimony, Jiah’s mother also mentioned a “violent fight” that happened between the two and how Sooraj wanted a second chance which Jiah did give. Rabia Khan then went on to reveal that Sooraj Pancholi started physically and verbally abusing her, and also used to shame her in front of his friends. As per reports, Rabia Khan shall continue with her testimony on Thursday.
