Someone Thought Selling T-Shirt With Sushant Singh Rajput’s Pic And Depression Quote Was A Good Idea. Now There’s Backlash
The Sushant Singh Rajput case shook the entire country with his fans who collectively call themselves ‘SSR-ians’ uniting from the very first moment to demand justice for him. The case is currently handled by CBI but there are days when #JusticeForSSR or #SSR begins to trend on Twitter. And today was one of those days when along with these hashtags, people also demanded to boycott e-commerce giants Amazon and Flipkart. The reason behind this is a t-shirt that was selling on these shopping sites that had the late Sushant Singh Rajput’s picture printed on it with a quote that read, ‘Depression is like drowning’. This has caused a huge uproar on Twitter and people are accusing these shopping websites of making light of a very serious issue.
One of the Twitter users who initially found the t-shirt only on Flipkart tweeted about it and wrote, “How even someone think of something like this??? #BoycottFlipkart.” Another one wrote, “Now what’s this nonsense Flipcart????
