Janhvi Kapoor Talks About Feeling Worthless Because Of Hate From Being A Star Kid. Are We Too Harsh On Them?
I feel like whenever the conversation about celebrity struggles comes up, many of us (including me) dismiss it and don’t take it seriously. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that we believe that just because they are rich and famous, their problems and adversities aren’t really important. And in a world where most issues stem from the lack of money, can these people be blamed? However, Janhvi Kapoor has opened up about being constantly being undermined for her work because of her parents being in the industry.
During a recent podcast interview, Janhvi Kapoor opened up about what has it been like for her in the industry as a star kid and how she feels about the hate because of the nepotism debate. Janhvi stated that during Dhadak and Gunjan she was constantly made to feel as if she got everything on a platter, and because of things, she got things she didn’t deserve which meant that she was worthless and is simply getting opportunities because of her parents’ work.

Janhvi continued to say that she also felt overwhelming respect and love for her parents as she has been given love and work because of that. She then said that she truly loves acting and lives for it. She said that she works her work ass off to return to her parents what they have done for her.

Janhvi then went on to discuss accepting the situation for what it is. She said that she realised that all she can do is to enjoy her work. Janhvi says that she has respect for the fact that other people have lost out on the opportunity but she doesn’t want to tolerate the hate anymore. She realised that all she can do is to make sure that she gives it more than her best and everything she has. Janhvi said that she doesn’t really pay heed to the beauty and talent she might have but she is sure of the hard work she has put into her work.
