The world is currently witnessing many dreadful conflicts, chief amongst them the war between Russia and Ukraine. Just a few days ago, Russia had declared war against Ukraine and even though there are news of a peace talk happening, there is news that Belarus might join the war as Russia’s ally. Many people, including celebrities, have been voicing their opinions on it. Just this morning, at the SAG Awards, Succession actor Brian Cox made an impassioned speech about it, speaking on behalf of the Russian artists who want to condemn the war but cannot because it has been decreed as treason against their country if they do so. Amongst our Indian celebrities, Priyanka Chopra, Tillotama Shome and many others have spoken up. And now, Iulia Vantur has also condemned the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict and talked about all the innocent lives lost in this terrible war.

Iulia Vantur who belongs to Romania, the neighbouring country of Ukraine, reacted to the crisis condemning the war that is taking the lives of many innocent people. Recently, she wrote a post on her social media account and said that war takes no side as it only causes loss of life and suffering. She also talked about the innocent lives lost because of the war and said that she is on the side of humanity. She wrote, “War does not take sides. It only causes loss of life and suffering.
