‘The Elephant Whisperers’ Producer Guneet Monga Meets Tom Cruise At The Academy Award Luncheon
This year, a number of Indian films and Documentary series gained recognition on the global level. The year 2023 started on a wonderful note when RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ won the Golden Globe Award. Now, the country is waiting for The Oscars 2023 because we have won nominations there too! One of the documentaries The Elephant Whisperers has been nominated under the Documentary Short Film category. Its producer Guneet Monga recently shared a series of pictures from the Academy Award Luncheon organised for all the nominated participants in Los Angeles.

Producer Guneet Monga attended the Academy Awards Luncheon in Los Angeles and met many Hollywood stars at the event. She shared a number of pictures on her social media handle, and most of them were happy selfies. Guneet Monga’s Hollywood Diaries is quite a memorable one for sure because it also has a selfie with the dashing Tom Cruise! The producer was present for the event to represent the nominated documentary film The Elephant Whisperers. Even actor Ali Fazal and director of the film Kartiki Gonsalves were spotted in the pictures. Some other famous actors spotted with Guneet Monga were Brenden Fraser and Ke Huy Kuan. Director Shaunak Sen whose All That Breathes documentary has been nominated for this year’s Oscars was also present at the event. Guneet Monga’s caption for this post was a reflection of how elated she was to be in the presence of such prestigious names in cinema.

Guneet Monga also posted some pictures flaunting her pretty white saree that she opted for the event. The interesting part about the saree was that it had been perfectly customised to fit the event as there were elephants on it made with golden thread. The saree was made by the designer Shreejith Jeevan. The producer looked very chic and ready for the event!
