Dia Mirza About Her Marriage

During a chat with Times Entertainment, Dia Miraz recalled losing both her biological and stepfather at an early stage in life. She spoke about how such an experience makes one resent only materialistic happiness. She continued that all one leaves behind are the feelings and memories that they have created. For the unversed, Samaira is her husband Vaibhav Rekhi’s daughter from his previous marriage. When asked about it, Mirza stated that her husband involved his daughter very early on in their relationship and even allowed his daughter to make the decision about whether they should get married or not.

Dia Mirza stated that if her stepdaughter had rejected her in the early days, she would not have gone ahead with her relationship with Vaibhav. As per the actor, Samaira’s agreement was their “acceptance” key. In a previous chat, she revealed that her stepdaughter doesn’t call her “mumma” and that she did not expect her to do so anyway. She recalled being called “Dia” by her instead. Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi tied the knot in February 2021. Their biological son, Avyaan Azaad Rekhi, was born in May 2021. Dia was formerly married to producer Sahil Sangha between 2014 and 2019.
