Ashley Graham Gives Us Yet Another Body Positive Moment, Shows Off Her Stretch Marks At The 2022 MTV VMAs

And many times, most of these comments are made on bigger women, especially the ones in the public eye. Ashley Graham came to the VMAs wearing the most gorgeous black dress and was loud and proud with her stretch marks.

At the 2022 MTV VMAs, Ashley Graham is boldly displaying her stretch marks. A black cut-out outfit by Houghton by Katharine Polk was worn by the model and mother of three as she arrived at this year’s MTV VMAs at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The mid-length bodycon dress also had a halter neckline, and ruched material with silverware to hold it in place.

Graham spoke about her cutout fashion statement and the empowering decision to expose her stretch marks as she walked the red carpet for the award show. She said that she hasn’t performed live in years. Graham added that her stretch marks are out after she unveiled the New York-based creator of her outfit. She further exclaimed “‘OK, here we go, stretch marks! Let’s go!” She said that she is going to I’m going to show it all out, like in the photos and in real life. She thought to herself that she has eight-month-old twins at home as she feels seductive and hot.

The model doesn’t shy away from unaltered and unedited photos. Graham gave birth to twins Malachi and Roman in January and revealed a mirror photo of her postpartum stomach on Instagram in April. “Hi, new tummy. We’ve been through a lot. Thank you,” she had captioned the photo. After giving birth to her twin boys, Graham posted a video on social media complimenting her body in the mirror and reassuring other mothers that their bodies are “beautiful in its realest form”.

Ashley Graham is a major advocate of body positivity and has previously spoken out about her stretch marks. Graham explained following the birth of her eldest son Isaac, how the physical changes she experienced while pregnant made her feel like a “superhero.” Isaac, age two, and the twins Roman and Malachi, age eight months, are the three sons that Ashley Graham and her husband Justin Ervin share.
