From Faye D’Souza To Anubha Bhonsle And Clarissa Ward, Women Journalists Of The Current Era Who Are Doing Pathbreaking Work

The students of journalism are taught to be transparent and honest with their news reporting.  But there is this constant dilemma that journalists might face when working in the field because lessons in a class highly differ from what you experience practically. As a woman in the field of journalism, I believe that it’s very important to constantly remind yourself why you chose this particular profession and the integrity with which you started working towards it. For that, looking up to some pioneering women journalists, especially in digital media has been really helpful for me. And, these women journalists have shown, how even in the world of fake news, and useless reporting, there are ways to do this job right and with every inch of honesty. Here are some that have truly been role models for me and I believe, many of you aspiring to be journalists.
