Recalling a disturbing incident from her college days, Sargun Mehta recounted an encounter where she and her best friend were walking back to their hostel. A man on a bike approached them, persistently asking Mehta to sit on his bike for several minutes. Despite her refusal, the man continued his harassment until other vehicles passed by, forcing him to leave. Sargun expressed her frustration at the situation, revealing that she had even resorted to physically pulling men off their bikes when they crossed the line. She explained that after a certain point, she felt compelled to take action, as tolerating such behaviour only emboldens perpetrators to target more women.
