5 Books On Sibling Relationships You Will Relate To If You Have Brothers Or Sisters!

Siblings are straight-up annoying, and this is a fact. If you have a younger sibling, they treat you like an ATM card and if you have an older sibling, they bully you to no end. But no matter what, you can never hate your siblings unless they have done something really life-threatening. I am sure you must have seen that meme which says you give your sibling your kidney but not your phone charger, and this is a hundred per cent true. So, on April 10 which is World Siblings Day, I would like to list down a few books that perfectly portray the best sibling relationships!

Little Women – Louisa May Alcott

This classic novel is based on the life of four sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy, and chronicles their life journeys from when they were children to when they become adults. This book reflects how sisters behave and interact with each other, and even though it was published in 1868, the portrayal of sisterhood stands true across all generations.

The Vampire Dairies – LJ Smith

Set in a world of vampires and werewolves, The Vampire Diaries books depicts the brotherly bond between Damn and Stefan Salvatore with much aptness. This duo is proof that human or not, brothers will bully each other but will have each other’s backs in the direst of situations.

To All The Boys – Jenny Han

One of my favourite young adult books, I love the To All The Boys books because of how well they portrayed the Covey sisters’ bond! From how they advise each other to how they are there for Lara when she messes up on the relationship front, is so heartwarming to read!

The Duke And I – Julia Quinn

The Julia Quinn novel series is based on the lives of the Bridgerton siblings and they end up finding their life partner. The first book in the series, The Duke and I, showcases how all 8 siblings are very different from each other and have ranging temperaments but when it comes to protecting each other, they are all on the same page!

A Long Time Coming – Meghan Quinn

I recently read A Long Time Coming, and even though it focuses on Breaker and Ophelia’s relationship, the story also highlights the bond between the Cane Brothers as well. From calling out each other on their BS to advising each other on their love lives, it was sweet reading about them!
