Shilpa Shetty On Porn Racket: Was Too Busy With Work, Did Not Know What Raj Kundra Was Up To
On July 19, Raj Kundra, business and husband to Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra, was arrested on suspicions of being the key conspirator in a porn racket. Mumbai Police, who carried out the arrest, had questioned a number of people in connection with the case, and wife Shilpa Shetty was one of them. And now, details from a 1400-page chargesheet filed by the Mumbai Police, containing Shilpa Shetty’s witness statement have emerged. According to the chargesheet, the Hungama 2 actor has claimed that she did not know about her husband’s pornography films business as she was wrapped up in her own work.

As per the reported details of the case, the 45-year-old businessman was streaming porn videos through two apps, called Hotshots and Bollyfame. At one point, Hotshots was removed from both Android and iOS playstores, post which, another app, Bollyfame, was created, fulfilling the same purpose.

Kundra is currently under arrest, and has been named key conspirator in the case, allegedly using the premises of his Viaan Industries Limited to run the entire operation.
The Mumbai Police has filed a 1400-page chargesheet before the Court today, which lists Shilpa Shetty as a witness. The actor told the Mumbai Court, “I was too busy with work, I did not know what Raj Kundra was up to.” This statement has been included in the chargesheet as well.
Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty is trying to put up a strong front. She has returned to her shooting commitments for a reality show that she is currently judging. She even shared pictures of her bringing Ganpati Bappa home with her two kids, son Viaan and daughter Samisha.
