She started off with sarvangasana and wrote, “Sarvangasana regulates the flow of blood towards your face as you are upside down. This is how the quality and texture of your skin improves while also building strength around shoulders and back.” To get in this pose, lie on your back with arms on the side. Bring your feet together and raise your body straight up with hands supporting your back. Keep your gaze on your chest and hold the pose for some time before releasing while exhaling calmly.

The next posture is halasana. She wrote, This pose helps to reduce stress, calm the mind and improves your digestive process, all of which has an amazing effect on your skin.” This is an inverted asana which is usually followed by sarvangasana. The initial steps are the same for both plough pose and shoulder stand. Instead of raising your body straight, lift your legs and place them behind your head so that your toes touch the floor. Keep palms faced down or hands clasped.

The third and last yoga pose is trikonasana. She wrote, “Trikonasana is a pose that opens the chest and shoulders. This opening of the chest allows supply of fresh oxygen to the skin. Along with benefiting the skin, it also gives you toned arms, legs and thighs as you practice regularly.” To get in the pose, stand straight with legs apart. The gap between your feet should be slightly wider than the span between your shoulders. Rotate your left foot 90 degrees outward, bend your torso towards it so that your left arm touches the ankle. Extend the right arm up and keep your gaze, chest and navel pointed up. Keep your elbows and knees straight while you hold the pose.
