Nithya Menen Reveals A Film Critic Harassed Her For Years After She Rejected Him. Why Can’t Men Take No For An Answer?
It is scary when we hear news of obsessive men stalking women who cannot take no as an answer. Women who reject men often fear if the man is constantly following them around or will threaten to harm their family or even them. Several actresses from the industry have also faced stalking from their admirers and things have escalated to the extent that the actress’ family is also being harassed by the man. Nithya Menen, who is predominantly known for her work in the south Indian film industry, also was stalked and harassed by Santosh Varkey, a film critic. At a recent event, Nithya opened up about the ordeal she had to face because of him pestering her.
As per a report by IndiaGlitz, Nithya was asked about Santosh Varkey at the press conference related to her film 19 (1) A. She spoke to the reporters and said that those people who listened to Santosh are ‘fools’ as he has been badgering her to marry him for a couple of years now. She also said that he called her from 30 different numbers and also asked her parents to block those numbers.

Nithya Menen also elaborated that Santohs Varkey began openly talking about this issue when he attained fame on social media. She also added that she was advised to file a police complaint against him but she did not and also that she has forgiven him.

Santosh has also responded to this and said Nithya’s parents also confused him about her engagement. He also said that had he known all of this before, he would not have fallen in love with Nithya.
