Woman’s Divorce Photoshoot Is Giving Geet From Jab We Met. But Twitter’s Not Impressed!

Heard about maternity, pre-wedding, and baby photoshoots, right, but now even divorce photoshoots have become a thing! A few days back, a woman named Laureb Brooke celebrated her separation from her husband with stunning divorce pictures in a red outfit Now, an Indian woman has recreated similar pictures that are taking the internet by storm, but the Tweeple are not ab fan! For the unversed, even the Supreme Court gave a huge verdict on divorce, making the procedure easier than before.

On Monday, May 1, the Divorce pictures of a woman named Shalini went viral on social media. It was closely inspired by Lauren Brooke’s photoshoot in a red gown in which she was seen burning the pictures with her husband. Similarly, Shalini’s pictures too celebrated her freedom from an unhappy married life. In the pictures, she was seen wearing a red high-slit gown. There were poses in which she was seen tearing her wedding pictures, stamping on them and in one of them, she held a banner that read “DIVORCED”.

Shalini also shared the pictures on her personal social media handle with a message for all those women who are suppressed in a marriage. She firmly declared that divorce is not a failure on the part of a woman as she deserved to have a happier life and live for herself. Shalini also encouraged women to break from the shackles of unhappy marriages and dedicated her latest photoshoot to all the “Brave Women” who do that!
