The Sarabhai director JD Majethia has disclosed some more gruesome details about her accident in Himachal Pradesh at the actress’s funeral.

On May 24, Vaibhavi Upadhyaya’s sudden demise left all her past co-stars and industry colleagues in shock. Her Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai director D Majethia was present for the actress’s funeral ceremony where he talked to the media in depth about the accident. In a video shared on a paparazzi page, JD Majethia revealed details about Vaibhaivi’s car accident in Himachal Pradesh. He stated that the actress’s car was standing on the edge of a narrow road, to give way to a truck passing by. However, the truck collided with her car and it fell into the valley. JD Majethia also stated that Vaibhavi Upadhyaya was not wearing her seat belt and suffered serious head injuries. He also told the media that the accident happened on May 22, and the actress’s wedding was due in November.

Vaibhavi Upadhyaya bid us goodbye at the young age of 32. Many of his co-stars such as Rupali Ganguly, Ayush Mehra and Satish Shah among others expressed their grief at the actor’s demise.
