Two Women Sue Apple After Its AirTag Was Allegedly Used To Stalk Them, Claim It’s A Dangerous Product
Technology can be a boon but at the same time it can also turn out to be a curse. The more advanced, companies are getting with their gadgets, looks like it is becoming more convenient for people to commit crimes, Yes, you heard it right. The well-known company, Apple has been sued by two women. They have alleged that Apple’s AirTag was misused by the ex-boyfriends to stalk them and cause harm.
Apple’s AirTags are blak and silver in colour and look like a coin. It can be put anywhere to detect and stop unwanted tracking. However, now apparently a very alarming use of this gadget has been put forth by the two women who have sued Apple.
As per one of the women, her ex-husband tried to keep a check on her movements by slipping the AirTag into the woman’s child’s backpack. Whereas, the other woman complained that her ex-boyfriend who had filed a lawsuit against her was able to detect her movements by placing an AirTag in the car’s wheel well. The women have put a plea before the court and asked for an amount to cover the damage. They also intend to fight the case of who has been victims of the product, or who can be in the future, as per the news.
Some other shocking and alarming cases have also come to light where lives have been lost. With the use of AirTags, people have committed murders. As per the news, there was a man who tracked down his girlfriend and shot her.

These accusations are yet to be answered by Apple. However, the company has always promoted this product as a safe one and had even made some upgrades to it.
