In very unfortunate news, Turkey has been severely hit by a very powerful earthquake that has caused immense destruction in the country. It has been reported that some 1400 people have lost their lives to this massive earthquake. And a recent video is going viral on social media that has been made by the wife of Hatyaspor’s manager, Volkan Demirel. The woman can be seen crying in the video while she talks about the horrific situation in Turkey’s Hatay province.
The video was originally posted by Zeynep Sever the wife of Hatayspor’s (football team) manager Volkan Demirel. In the video, the woman clearly looks scared and heartbroken. She continuously weeps while narrating the ordeal. Zeynep Sever informed in the video that many of her friends are also missing and her condition of Hatay is worse. She also raised her concerns about many football players being badly affected by the earthquake. The video was shared on her official Instagram handle.
Two hospitals have collapsed in Hatay province. Local football teams seem to be hit hard.

As per reports, the earthquake also caused the collapse of two hospital buildings which is a really concerning scenario. The earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria was of 7.6 Degree magnitude and is considered to be one of the worst till now. Up till now, two earthquakes have hit both countries.

India has also extended medical and rescue help to these countries in distress. Heartbreaking pictures from the disaster are doing rounds on social media. Buildings have collapsed and many people are still stuck under them, the rescue mission is underway. Such a bad earthquake hit Turkey last in 1999 when around 18000 people were reported to be dead, and now another critical situation has been encountered by the country.
