The entire country is talking about the Tunisha Sharma suicide case. The Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul actress was found hanging in the washroom on the set of the show. Her former boyfriend Sheezan Mohammad Khan, who was the show’s male lead made some surprising statements during the police interrogation. On December 26, 2022, Tunisha Sharma’s family issued a statement mentioning the details of her last rites whereas Sheezan Khan’s family also released a statement requesting privacy.

Tunisha Sharma’s Family Releases Statement
As per reports, Tunisha Sharma’s family released a statement on Monday evening saying that it is with a heavy heart they are informing that Tunisha has left them for her heavenly abode. They also wrote that they wish for everyone to come and offer prayers to the departed soul. Her last rites will be held on December 27, at 3 PM at the Mira Road cremation ground.

Sheezan Khan’s Family’s Statement
On the other hand, the 28-year-old actor’s family also issued a statement saying that they find it upsetting that the media is constantly calling them up and even standing in their apartment building’s premises. They also said that they have faith in the Indian judiciary system and also that Sheezan is cooperating with the police in all the procedures. They have requested privacy be given to their family during this time.

During the police interrogation, Sheezan Khan said that he broke up with Tunisha Sharma because he belonged to a different religion. He also went on to say that the Delhi Shraddha Walkar case stressed him out. Tunisha and Sheezan had broken up 15 days before the tragic incident.

Sheezan Khan was arrested by the police after Tunisha’s mother filed a case of abetment of suicide against him. She told the police that her daughter was ‘suffering’ in the relationship. The post-mortem report that came in clarified rumours that Tunisha was not pregnant and that she has died from suffocation.
