The death of actress Tunisha Sharma has shaken the entertainment industry. The 20-year-old was playing the lead role of Shehzaadi Mariyam in the fantasy serial Aliba Dastaan-E-Kabul. On December 24, news broke out that Tunisha passed away by suicide. She was found hanging on the set of the show in Vasai, Palghar. Developments have taken place in the case so far. Tunisha Sharma’s Suicide
Tunisha Sharma who essayed the role of Shehzaadi Mariyam on Sab TV’s show went to the washroom on the set of Aliba Dastaan-E-Kabul after her tea break, reports say. When she did not return after a long time, people on the set went to look for her. The washroom door was broken down and she was found hanging. Tunisha was rushed to the hospital immediately by the people on the set and was declared dead.

Sheezan Mohammed Khan Arrested
Tunisha’s co-star, Sheezan Mohammed Khan, who also played the show’s male lead, has been arrested by the Waliv police. It was the late actress’ mother who filed a case of abetment of suicide against Khan. Reportedly, she told the police that her daughter was ‘suffering’ in a relationship with him. A case has been filed against him under section 306 of the Indian Penal Code. On Monday, December 26, Shazeen will be presented in court.
The Waliv police have not found a suicide note on the set and they are probing the case from all angles. They have taken Tunisha’s phone into custody as well. The reason behind Tunisha’s death is being investigated.

Tunisha Was Active On Social Media Hours Before
What shocked people more is that Tunisha was active on social media hours before she died by suicide. She shared a video of her getting ready on the set on her Instagram. She also shared a picture of her on the photo-sharing app with the caption, “Those who are driven by their Passion Doesn’t stop.”
