Katrina Kaif has now become a victim of the wrong use of technology. A BTS picture of the actress from Tiger 3 has been edited to sexualise and objectify her body. The picture is from the scene where Katrina is seen having a hand-to-hand combat in a white towel. In the morphed picture, Katrina Kaif’s body features have been edited to look sensuous. The original and edited versions of the picture have been shared on Twitter to make people aware of the difference.

A deepfake video like that of Rashmika Mandanna was solely made to spread lies about the actress by using AI technologies. Deepfakes are usually done in audio or videos. Katrina Kaif’s viral picture is morphed because her body features have been edited to look like someone else’s. One can easily understand whether it’s a morphed picture or not by looking for some irregularities in the edited picture. It can never be a perfect edit, or a reverse search on Google will also take you to the original image! There are so many morphed images of actresses on social media and it’s high time that we raise our voices against this. The misuse of technology and editing skills have become a danger to women’s safety and there should be strict actions against this!
