New Details Emerge In Shraddha Walker Murder Case As Cops Find Weapon Used To Chop Her Body
Aftab's narco analysis has been scheduled.
A few days ago, the news of Shraddha Walker’s murder rocked our worlds and not in a good way. The chilling details of her murder left us all feeling numb. Shraddha Walker was allegedly murdered by her live-in partner Aftab Poonawalla. As per media reports, Aftab killed Shraddha in a moment of anger after the couple had a fight after which is cut her body into 35 pieces and disposed them of in different locations over the span of 18 days. In fact, during his custody hearing, Aftab told the court that he killed Shraddha “in the heat of the moment”. As he continues to be lodged in Tihar jail, media reports suggest that Aftab is remorseless and has been put under suicide watch.

Now in the latest update, the police have managed to recover the weapon used to chop Shraddha Walker’s body. Media reports suggest that Shraddha’s father is also being questioned and his statement is being recorded. No other details about the weapon or how it was discovered have been revealed yet as the probe continues. On the other hand, the word is that Aftab Poonawalla will reportedly undergo a narco-analysis examination in December. Aftab underwent a polygraph test on Friday, Nov 25 followed by 2 more sessions and was taken for the remaining lie detector test on Monday, Nov 28. His polygraph test on Sunday couldn’t be completed as he fell sick and got a cough and then started sneezing during the test. Earlier, it was believed that multiple weapons were used to chop Shraddha’s body and the police had also recovered 5 large knives that were later sent for forensic examination.

Since, this is a developing story, more details of the case are awaited. For the unversed, after the murder, Aftab Poonwalla also came in contact with a female psychologist through a dating app and even called her over to his residence. What’s worse is that Aftab even gave Shraddha’s gold ring, which he removed from her finger after killing her and cutting her body into 35 pieces, to his new girlfriend. In fact, during the interrogation, Aftab revealed that he had very carefully and meticulously planned to get rid of Shraddha Walker’s body.
