But this notion was proven wrong in Shark Tank India season 2. Poonam Kasturi, who is the founder of the startup Daily Dump, showed how confident she is and will not get intimidated by the Sharks!
In the promo video of the upcoming episode of Shark Tank India, Poonam Kasturi surprised the Sharks by being her unapologetic self. She is the founder of Daily Dump, a compost start-up, and while pitching her business, she took a subtle dig, or rather many jibes at the Sugar Cosmetics CEO, Vineeta Singh! She started her pitch by showing a bowl full of vegetable peels and said that people consider it to be waste but in fact, it is a treasure.

Emcure CEO Namita Thapar said that she recognised Poonam Kasturi as they had met at an awards function to which the latter replied and says that she wants money and not awards! Oof! She got straight to the point! When Poonamji showed a packet of reetha, Vineeta Singh asked what it is. Poonam Kasturi was quick to reply to this and said that she must know what this product is since she works in this industry!
