Sapna Gill Accuses Cricketer Prithvi Shaw Of Outraging Her Modesty, Seeks FIR

A few days back, a controversial fight erupted between cricketer Prithvi Shaw and social media influencer Sapna Gill, apparently over a selfie. On the former’s statements and complaints, Gill and seven of her friends were arrested by the Oshiwara police. However, now after coming out on bail, Sapna Gill has put forth her side of the story and also submitted an application asking for an FIR against Prithvi Shaw. She has made new allegations against the cricketer and also accused him and his friends of molestation.

On Monday, February 20, Sapna Gill was granted bail in connection to her scuffle with Prithvi Shaw. Post this, Gill’s lawyer submitted an application to the Andheri police station wherein she asked for an FIR on Shaw and his friend Ashish Yadav. In the application, she mentioned the details of what events led to fighting on that night. As per the application, Prithvi Shaw was in an inebriated condition that night. Sapna’s friend Shobhit Thakur was eager to get a selfie with him as he was a huge cricket fan, however, Shaw declined the request. In fact, Sapna Gill also alleged that Shobhit Thakur was attacked by Shaw and his drunk friends, and to save him, she had to intervene, as per the news. Sapna Gill has also accused Prithvi Shaw of “outraging her modesty”. Refusing all the claims and charges made against her, the influencer also mentioned in the application that she requested the cricketer to stop misbehaving many times but it was all futile.

On the other hand, Prithvi Shaw and his friend had alleged that the influencer and her friends turned violent when the cricketer refused to entertain their unending selfie requests. The group of 8 was also accused of attacking Shaw’s car with a baseball bat, and some videos of this fight also went viral on social media.
