Sania Mirza was introduced as the ‘pioneer’ of women’s sports in India, and a ‘habitual winner’! Talking about her excitement about being on board the RCB team as their mentor, she said that she has been a professional athlete for 20 years. She also said that the pressure that all athletes go through is the same even if the sport they play is different. Sania said that if athletes will not embrace the pressure, they will not be able to excel at it.

Sania Mirza is going to help the RCB women’s team in handling the pressures, and the mental aspect of the game. Meaning, she will help the team be mentally ready for any kind of situation that arises on the pitch. She also was very happy with this opportunity being provided to the women’s team as IPL brought wonders to men’s cricket.
