Pooja Bhatt Uses Harper Lee’s Quote To Give A Befitting Reply To BJP’s Claim Of Being Paid To Walk With Rahul Gandhi
We have often seen Bollywood celebrities getting palsy with politicians. They are often seen in certain campaigns run by political parties. Just take the example of Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress party, who recently organized a walk – Bharat Jodo Yatra. Joining him on the walk were actors Pooja Bhatt, Rashmi Desai, and more. Needless to say, this did not sit well with BJP who claimed that actors were paid to walk alongside Rahul Gandhi. Well, it was Pooja Bhatt who gave a befitting reply to these claims.
Pooja Bhatt walked for 15km with Rahul Gandhi during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Hyderabad. Following that BJP leader Nitesh Rane shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp forward that claimed that actors were being paid by Congress to take the walk.
So the Rahul Gandhi Yatra is stage managed..
This is a proof of how actors r bein paid to come and walk with him..

After Nitesh Rane, even Amit Malviya, IT cell chief of BJP, also shared the screenshot and questioned the credibility of these actors who would associate with Rahul Gandhi for some money. Well, Pooja Bhatt had a fitting reply for these BJP members.
“They're certainly entitled to think that, and they're entitled to full respect for their opinions… but before I can live with other folks I've got to live with myself. The one thing that doesn't abide by majority rule is a person's conscience.”

Quoting from Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird, Pooja Bhatt tweeted, “They’re certainly entitled to think that, and they’re entitled to full respect for their opinions… but before I can live with other folks I’ve got to live with myself. The one thing that doesn’t abide by majority rule is a person’s conscience. Harper Lee”.
