As much as the Oscars are made memorable each year with cinematic projects from all over the world getting recognition on this global platform, there are often some funny moments from the award ceremony that make headlines! Last year, *cough cough* it was the Chris Pine-Will Smith slap gate that took social media by storm, which was funny, BTW, this year Malala Yousafzai decided to keep the atmosphere light with her wit! Comedian and Oscars host, Jimmy Kimmel asked Malala her opinion on Harry Styles’ spitting on Chris Pine at the Don’t Worry Darling premiere. She gave the most diplomatically funny answer!

A video of this interaction has gone viral on social media where Jimmy Kimmel was being his hilarious self. He asked Malala Yousafzai a question about the whole Harry Style spitting on Chris Pine drama at their film’s premiere in a rather sly way. He posed the question to her as though he was asking it on someone else’s behalf. Choosing to slide away from this tricky situation, Malala Yousafzai responded to the spit gate question by saying that she only believes in peace!

Jimmy Kimmel asking such a question to Malala has not sat well with Internet users. They called him out and said that he could have asked her a better question as she is a Nobel Peace Prize winner. I sort of agree with Twitterati here because Kimmel could have asked her about her film which has been nominated in the documentary category, or anything else which would have gotten her to share her valuable opinion on.
