Fake healer, who reportedly coerced a woman into a nude video call, has been identified as Rajneesh Bhargava!
In yet another disturbing case, a man who reportedly posed as a healer on social media and allegedly coerced a woman into a nude video call and extorted over Rs 1.4 lakh has been arrested by the Ahmedabad Cyber Crime unit. This matter has also shed light on the alleged fact that he was reportedly running this racket by posing as a transgender spiritual healer. This is one of the most horrifying cases that has shocked people on the internet.
Man Arrested After Reportedly Coercing Woman Into Nude Video Call
According to a report by India Today, the accused named Rajneesh Bhargava from Rajasthan, whose account name was “Astrologer Pooja Kinnar Maa,” was contacted by a woman asking him to help her with personal relationship problems. He gained her trust by calling himself a spiritual figure. It is being said that the woman was first asked to share pictures to perform a ritual, which he morphed and used to blackmail her. The reports indicate that he coerced her into a nude video call under the pretext of finishing a religious ceremony. He used it and blackmailed her. The shocking part is that he was not the only one operating this racket. The investigation discovered that two more accused, Vikas and Ravi Bhargava, who are currently untraceable, also took part in this.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Cyber Crime), Lavina Sinha, revealed that the accused, who fall in the age group of 20 to 25, have been running this racket for more than two years. According to the reports, almost 300 people were contacted daily by them, and many of them ended up becoming their victims. It was also revealed that the victims were asked to pay between Rs 3,000 and Rs 15,000 for performing ceremonies. Once they involved themselves in it, they were tricked into revealing their private information that the accused would use to blackmail them.

The Accused Reportedly Extorted More Than Rs 35 Lakhs From People
The police investigation reportedly revealed that the accused have extorted between Rs 40 and Rs 42 lakh with this racket. It was revealed that some of the people ticketed by them didn’t come forward in order to protect their reputation.
The authorities should take very strict actions against such people. They take advantage of vulnerable individuals who are desperate for help and, in turn, make their lives more difficult by blackmailing them and extorting money. Stricter cybercrime laws should be in place so that any person, especially a woman, is not blackmailed over her nudes or anything else!
