Man Acquitted In Gang Rape Case Seeks Rs 10,000 Crore Compensation

You know, if you will look at all the recent new stories, it will be about crime, murders, celebrity gossip, movies, pregnancy announcements, celebrity wedding, rumours, and the list goes on and on. However, this story is a bit different and it will surely make you question everything. In Madhya Pradesh, a man after being acquitted of gang rape charges sued the statement government and has sought compensation of more than Rs 10,000 crore.

In Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam, a man who was acquitted in a gang rape case sought compensation from the state government citing suffering and mental agony caused to him as his imprisonment sent his family members to the brink of starvation. According to the reports, he is asking for Rs 10,006.02 crore as compensation from the Madhya Pradesh government. In his petition, the man identified as Kantilal Bheel has sought Rs 2 lakhs towards the “loss of God’s gift to humans e.g. sexual pleasure.”

His lawyer, Vijay Singh Yadav said that his client has sought Rs 10,000 crore in compensation on the grounds that human life is precious. He explained that the remaining amount, Rs 6.02 crore is for various reasons that include legal expenses.

According to the reports, a woman filed a complaint in the year 2018, against Bheel at the Manasa police station. She accused him of sexually assaulting her on the pretext of dropping her at her brother’s home.

She alleged that the man handed her over to another person who she claimed raped her for nearly six months. The woman’s complaint led to Bheel’s arrest and imprisonment for nearly two years.
