Kumkum Bhagya Star Dolly Sohi Loses Battle To Cervical Cancer Just Hours After Sister Amandeep’s Death From Jaundice

The entertainment industry mourns the loss of yet another talented soul as actor Dolly Sohi succumbed to cervical cancer earlier today, March 8 at the mere age of just 48. The news comes as a double blow to the Sohi family, as Dolly’s sister Amandeep Sohi, also an actor, had passed away just hours earlier on Thursday, March 7, following complications from jaundice. Dolly is survived by her teenage daughter.

Dolly Sohi’s brother, Mannu Sohi, confirmed the heartbreaking news today, by expressing the family’s devastation at losing both sisters within such a short span of time. In an interview with India Today, Mannu Sohi shared the tragic details, stating that Dolly breathed her last around 4 am. Both sisters had been receiving treatment at Apollo Hospital in New Mumbai, where Amandeep had passed away the previous day due to jaundice.

The Sohi family has also issued a statement, informing the friends, fans, and well-wishers about Dolly’s demise and expressing their profound shock and grief. Last year, she posted a photo after a chemotherapy session, expressing gratitude for the love and prayers she had received. Her message reflected resilience and strength in the face of adversity, inspiring many with her words of courage and determination.
