Four US Women Sue Loreal For Hazardous Hair Products, Say “There Were No Warnings It Could Cause Cancer”
This is concerning.
We really need to be a lot more conscious and aware of the kind of products we use on our bodies. Especially, after some startling reports that have come out in the past few months about how some companies used harmful and cancerous ingredients in their products. Now, there are reports about four women in the USA who have filed complaints against Loreal and other hair products that caused cervical cancer. It is really scary to hear about their ordeal and shows how there is no clarity on the products for the kind of effects they can have on the consumers.
After a study about the cancerous effects of hair straightening products was released some time back, these US women went on to sue some companies whose products they used on a regular basis. The complainants informed how they were completely clueless that these products could be a reason for their cancer. Two women suffered from Uterine Cancer, which mostly results in the removal of the uterus.
One of the plaintiffs also expressed her fear about Uterine cancer coming back in some other form, like breast cancer, and said that there are high chances for it, as per the news. One of the petitioners also said that cancer is such a painful disease, and just because there was no mention of the drastic effects of the hair products, it was impossible to foresee it!

In defense, Loreal has said that their products go through a rigorous quality check and the company also abides by all the regulations that are set in place by the authorities, as per news.

However, clearly, the complaints by the four women show a different side of reality which is concerning.
